SCOPE OF WORK

The duties listed below are intended only as illustrations of the various types of work that may be performed. The omission of specific statements of duties does not exclude them from the position.

  1. Conduct client assessments and evaluations including screening for co-occurring disorders.
  2. Develop and implement treatment plans for clients that address chemical dependency and co-occurring disorders.
  3. Develop discharge plans with clients that include provisions for co-occurring disorders if identified.
  4. Monitor client fee payments and refer clients for financial staffings.
  5. Retrieve drug screen results and document in file.
  6. Provide case management services for clients.
  7. Provide individual, group and family counseling, as necessary.
  8. Prepare and maintain clinical records within required time frame.
  9. Submit reports as required.
  10. Participate in clinical staffings and team meetings.
  11. Participate in weekly therapeutic community meetings.
  12. Make referrals to appropriate resource agencies and document outcomes of referrals.
  13. Provide crisis intervention, when needed.
  14. Assist in training and education of other staff members, interns and students.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Master's Degree in a Human Services related discipline and at least 1 year experience in the behavioral health field.
