Program Supervisor- R.E.A.C.H. Program

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Program Supervisor will support daily operations of the of Ibis Healthcare's R.E.A.C.H.(Resilience, Endurance And Continued Hope) Program which is an innovative recovery-oriented mental health program serving adults in Tampa and throughout Hillsborough County. Our evidence-based, group-focused approach helps individuals with mental health diagnoses develop the skills, confidence, and community connections needed to live active, purposeful lives. The Program Supervisor is considered an advanced professional who will be responsible for supervision and support of direct service staff, training and development, consultation, and program staffing needs. Reports to and functions under the direction, instruction, and supervision of the Program Manager.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a Human Services-related field from an accredited college or university. Four (4) to six (6) years of Human Service/Behavioral Health experience. A Master's degree can substitute for two (2) years of related experience. Prefer applicants who are licensed or are eligible to be licensed. 
  • Knowledge of direct services, including relevant DSM 5 diagnosis and symptomology. 
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret clinical records, procedures, legal documentation, and governmental regulations. Ability to effectively communicate verbally with, provide information to, and respond to questions from managers, clients, service providers, family members, and the general public. 
  • Must have reliable transportation with liability insurance, a valid Florida driver's license, and a good driving record are also required (minimum age requirement of 21 years of age or older).

FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provides direct supervision for the program staff. Supervises and/or coordinates direct service delivery of the reporting unit. Direct supervision of program staff and ensures training compliance.
  • Complete Ibis Healthcare required documentation in an accurate and timely manner, including but not limited to program monitoring and quality reports.
  • Maintain cooperative relationships with internal and external programs and agencies.
  • Attend agency-wide, division, and program meetings, seminars, conferences, and workshops to maintain and enhance essential skills and knowledge.
  • Interviews/hires prospective employees and orients them to the program.
  • Assume administrative and supervisory duties in the Program Manager's absence.
  • May require traveling within Hillsborough County via personal vehicle or agency vehicle to facilitate client services in a variety of socioeconomic neighborhoods.
  • Performs other duties that are similar, related, or are a logical assignment to the job.
