Therapist (Full-Time)|Mobile Crisis Team- Adult Services

The Therapist for the Mobile Response Team is is an advanced professional position providing direct therapeutic services to identified mental health and substance abuse clients. The therapist will be responsible for maintaining patient care per program guidelines and external standards (Joint Commission, Medicaid, etc.). The therapist will provide clinical services, specifically psychosocial assessments and treatment planning to the following population: individual, family, and group therapy to children, adolescents, and adults

QUALIFICATIONS

Must have a Florida License (RI, LMHC, LCSW, LMFT). Bilingual (English-Spanish) is recommended. Computer knowledge should include Microsoft applications (Word, Excel) and Electronic Medical Records experience. helpful. May provide clinical oversight in a multidisciplinary team. Must have a valid Florida's Driver's license, reliable source of transportation for client visits, and valid vehicle insurance.

FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES  

  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop service plans, treatment plans, and discharge plans.
  • Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions with adults, children, and families in an outpatient, acute care, inpatient, or community setting.
  • Accurate and timely documentation of clinical and administrative services in accordance with program guidelines and external standards (Joint Commission, Medicaid, etc.).
  • Meets productivity requirements for the designated program through efficient workflow management.
  • Maintains cooperative relationships with other internal departments and external agencies and keeps the supervisor informed at all times of all relevant client, program, and community issues
  • Understands the basic tenets of Co-Occurring disorders and the relationship between mental health and substance abuse. The therapist will also demonstrate knowledge of the age-specific needs of the clients treated in the program.

  • Adheres to all applicable federal, state, local, and company-maintained standards of compliance, ethics, and policies concerned with the administration and delivery of agency services.
  • Meets deadlines, requirements, and expectations as established by the supervisor, agency, and department.
  • Completes administrative functions and data entry in a timely and accurate manner.
