The Operations and Compliance Coordinator supports regulatory compliance, supports day-to-day and strategic projects across clinical programs and non-clinical programs, coordinating tasks that improve efficiency, workflow, documentation practices, and cross-departmental communication. This role works closely with clinical teams, compliance/quality leadership, and program directors/managers to ensure that operations and regulatory tasks are executed efficiently, documentation is audit-ready, and cross-functional committees operate efficiently. Core competencies include strong prioritization and multi-tasking abilities, effective communication and interpersonal skills, ability to facilitate group discussions and committees, skilled at organizing complex information, and collaborative approaches with clinical teams.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of an associate's degree in healthcare management, Public Health, Health Science, or related field from an accredited college or university (Bachelor's degree preferred).
- Minimum 2 years of experience in healthcare operations, behavioral health, inter-departmental collaboration, compliance, or quality improvement. Familiarity with healthcare regulatory standards (e.g., DCF, AHCA, HRSA, and Joint Commission).
- Experience working with clinical teams or in a clinical environment. Strong organizational, communication, and meeting-facilitation skills. Prefer experience with quality improvement frameworks (e.g., PDSA, Lean), grant or funder-related compliance, technologically proficient, with the ability to use software tools that support the role.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret clinical records, procedures, legal documentation, and governmental regulations. Ability to effectively communicate verbally with, provide information to, and respond to questions from managers, clients, service providers, and the public.
- Valid Florida driver's license, insurance, and reliable transportation.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Regulatory Compliance Support: Assist with clinical documentation reviews, prepare materials for audits/surveys, track regulatory deadlines, and help implement policy changes. Complete Ibis required documentation in an accurate and timely manner, including but not limited to program monitoring and quality reports.
- Committee/Project Facilitation: Prepare agenda and supporting documents, develop and update action plans, moderate meetings as needed, and follow up on action items from project, quality, compliance, and performance committees. Attend agency-wide, division, and program meetings, seminars, conferences, and workshops to maintain and enhance essential skills and knowledge.
- Liaison and Coordination: Serve as a liaison between clinical and administrative teams. Assist clinicians with understanding project tasks, new processes, or documentation expectations. Coordinate scheduling, training logistics, and communication during project rollout to completion.
- Documentation & Reporting: Develop, organize, and maintain comprehensive project and compliance documentation; create tools and templates for team use; and support the preparation of routine status and performance reports by ensuring consistent documentation practices across all activities
