Grant Accountant
- Ensures timely preparation and submission of monthly invoices and expenditure reports.
- Assists fiscal dept. management staff with the preparation of grant program budgets, modifications, and forecasts.
- Performs grant-related functions such as budget distributions, expense monitoring, periodic invoicing, and financial reporting.
- Accomplishes grant closeout functions, including reconciliations, financial status reports, final invoices, and final reporting.
- Communicates with fiscal contacts at funding source for problem resolution and information gathering.
- Maintains knowledge of current issues relating to grants and single audits of federal, state, and local government agencies and non-profit organizations.
- Participates in the completion of all aspects of the annual audit report on state and federal awards.
- Monitors the general ledger and enters any adjustments or reclassifications of revenue and grant receivable accounts.
- Investigates discrepancies, interprets agreements and regulations, and provides recommendations based on sound accounting practices.
- Adheres to IBIS Healthcare policies and procedures and safeguards IBIS Healthcare assets.

Ability to reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Specific vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. Must be capable of lifting 50 pounds of dead weight alone. May be required to complete standing presentations involving speaking and listening to audience.
