The Team Lead is Licensed Therapist who will be responsible for the daily operation of the adult forensic GFIT program, supervision of direct service staff, and training and consultation. Reports to and functions under the direction, instruction, and supervision of the Director of Adult Forensic Services & Court Services.
Provide direct nursing care by administering long acting injections to patients with a behavioral health disorder based on a systematized body of knowledge. Assures patient safety through safe administration of medications and infection control. Participates as a contributing member of the multidisciplinary treatment team
This is an advanced professional position that performs initial reassessments to evaluate client’s needs for appropriate treatment including but not limited to mental health, substance abuse, and primary care. Assessments will include psychosocial assessments and treatment planning for the following populace: children, adolescents, and adults. The Assessment Specialist will be responsible for maintaining patient care by program guidelines and external standards (Joint Commission, Medicaid, etc.). Minimum of a Master's degree; Registered Intern or Florida License is preferred.

Participates as a contributing member of the multidisciplinary treatment team. Participates in Quality Improvement activities.

Applicants must have one of the following Florida Board Licenses (Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, or Registered Intern) plus a Master's Degree in Human Services or other related field of study to be qualified.
Provides advocacy, coordination and continuity of evidence-based care for individuals and families in need through a collaborative process of triage, assessment, planning, and communication. Participates as a member of a multidisciplinary treatment team. Reports to the unit/department supervisor.
