The Practice Supervisor is an advanced professional and operational leadership position responsible for oversight of integrated care practice operations, access and admissions workflows, provider scheduling support, front-end operational coordination, and supervision of assigned staff across outpatient behavioral health, addiction treatment, and integrated primary care settings. Reports to and function under the direction, instruction, and supervision of the designated Director or senior operational leader.
This position promotes efficient patient flow, supports access and productivity goals, strengthens integrated care coordination processes, supports compliance initiatives, and advances operational performance improvement across assigned practice sites.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Health Administration, Human Services, Behavioral Health, Business Administration, or related field from an accredited college or university. Four (4) to six (6) years of progressively responsible healthcare, behavioral health, outpatient operations, access management, or practice management experience required. Preference for applicants with supervisory experience in integrated care, outpatient behavioral health, or multi-disciplinary practice operations. Ability to analyze operational data, productivity reports, and regulatory requirements. Strong communication and organizational skills required.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provides supervision and support to assigned practice operations and access staff.
- Oversees access, intake, scheduling, and patient flow processes to support efficient service delivery.
- Monitors operational performance indicators related to access, productivity, and patient experience.
- Supports coordination across behavioral health, addiction treatment, primary care, and telehealth services.
- Assists with workflow improvement initiatives, implementation of operational tools, and quality improvement activities.
- Supports insurance, eligibility, and related operational processes in collaboration with clinical and revenue cycle teams.
- Participates in compliance, accreditation readiness, and audit-related activities as assigned.
- Supports staff onboarding, training, and performance coaching.
- Assumes administrative responsibilities in the absence of the manager, as assigned.
- Performs other duties that are similar, related, or logical assignments to the position.
OPERATIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
DAILY:
- Ensure clinic readiness and operational coverage.
- Monitor intake, scheduling, and patient flow.
- Support provider schedule optimization and open slot management.
- Track visits, no-shows, and access barriers.
- Monitor patient experience concerns and resolve workflow issues.
- Ensure accurate registration and eligibility processes.
WEEKLY:
- Review access, productivity, and no-show trends.
- Coordinate workflow corrections and address service bottlenecks.
- Monitor eligibility follow-up and referral handoffs.
- Participate in performance and operational review meetings.
MONTHLY:
- Review demand, capacity, and productivity trends.
- Support operational reporting and workflow improvement planning.
- Participate in compliance, quality, and audit readiness activities.
COMPLIANCE RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Adheres to all applicable federal, state, local, and company-maintained standards of compliance, ethics, and policies concerned with the administration and delivery of agency services.
- Supports compliance with applicable accreditation, payer, CCBHC, FQHC, and related operational standards.
- Meets deadlines, requirements, and expectations established by supervisor, agency and department.
- Completes administrative functions, reporting requirements and data entry timely and accurately.
- Supports monitoring and corrective action related to operational compliance findings
